Convert an ICICI Bank account statement into Payment, Receipt and Contra vouchers for Tally. Works with detailed statements in PDF or Excel from ICICI net banking.
| Date | Narration | Withdrawal | Deposit | Balance | Ledger | Voucher | Remove |
|---|
Statement not read correctly? Tell us which bank and we’ll add support for its format.
Import the ledger masters file first if any of these ledgers don’t exist in your company yet, then import the vouchers file.
Layouts vary by account type and by how the statement is downloaded. A typical ICICI statement has these columns, and the converter maps them like this:
| ICICI column | Used as |
|---|---|
| S No. | Ignored |
| Value Date | Ignored |
| Transaction Date | Voucher date |
| Cheque Number | Ignored |
| Transaction Remarks | Voucher narration |
| Withdrawal Amount (INR) | Payment or Contra amount |
| Deposit Amount (INR) | Receipt or Contra amount |
| Balance (INR) | Balance check |
ICICI detailed statements start each row with a serial number. The converter skips it and reads the date that follows.
Transfer codes such as NEFT, RTGS, IMPS and UPI are kept in the narration so you can identify the party. ATM withdrawals and cash deposits are posted to Cash as Contra vouchers, and bank charges, interest, GST, TDS, rent and salary entries get a matching ledger suggestion. Anything else posts to the ledger you choose for unmatched entries.
Yes. Rows that begin with a serial number are read correctly, and long transaction remarks are joined into one narration.
Either works. Excel is slightly more reliable when it is available.
No. It is an independent converter that reads the statement format. It is not affiliated with ICICI Bank or Tally Solutions.
